Brambleton, Virginia

Brambleton is located in Loudoun County, Virginia; an area of the state that is a quick 30 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. This excellent locale means Brambleton is considered part of the Greater Washington metro area. If you're considering the Ashburn area as your potential future home, you might just never look further than Brambleton. Many consider this delightful community to be a mere part of Ashburn, Virginia. But this is a destination in its own right, and the US post office recognizes the Brambleton zip code (20148) as it's own town.

Brambleton was built on the former location of Royville, VA, which dated back to 1908. The Brambleton Group acquired the land in 1999 and began planning a master community. Residents in the development are members of the Brambleton Community Association, a homeowners’ association. The community has a distinct look and feel that separates it from the other planned communities in the area. The entire purpose for designing Brambleton was to give residents the perfect work/life balance. The master planner and visionary behind the idea chose location as adjacent to Washington, D.C., but far enough out that there was space to build an entire life and a vibrant community for the residents. This vision is working out beautifully.

Brambleton is one of Northern Virginia's newest master planned communities, but it is ranked #6 amongst all master planned communities in the nation. A number of prominent builders took part in the development of the Brambleton Community. These include Van Meter, Miller & Smith, Pulte Homes, Centex, Winchester Homes, Beazer Homes and Stanley Martin. Together, it's the combined styles that have given the community such distinction. In fact, Brambleton has won numerous "Community of the Year" awards since the first residents moved in. The most recent award was presented by Great American Living for the welcoming community you'll find when you visit. 

Let's dive a little deeper though. What can you expect from these exquisitely designed homes? All of the homes in this community feature state-of-the art fiber optic network provided by Verizon. This comes with your home, as the price is included within the Homeowners Association fees. These large, impressive homes are mostly priced in the seven-digit range — and with every home comes the priceless Brambleton community. 

Beyond the remarkable care and design that went into this community, all of that is just one part of what makes Brambleton an amazing place to live. Brambleton boasts its own Town Center, the “heart” of Brambleton. It is bursting with retail, entertainment, a movie theatre, restaurants, and commercial space. You don't have to leave the community for things like: banking, groceries, a gym, and even concerts. The community also boasts 200 acres of lightly developed land: this means 10 miles of nature trails! In fact, in 2012 the Road Runners Club of America designated Brambleton as a "runner-friendly" community. Other recreation amenities include parks, pools, ball fields, tennis, and many other resort style amenities.

And for those raising families, Brambleton schools are unilaterally excellent. Though the schools are a part of Loudoun County Public Schools, students will never need to leave the community to attend one of the high-rated elementary, middle, and high schools.
